Improve Your Swing With Proper Body Position
Here is a new installment on how to improve your golf swing. Having proper body position when you take your shot is very important and plays a huge part in the accuracy of your shot. Today then, we will look at how to position yourself to help you hit the ball square and to be more accurate with your shots. It's actually very simple. In a nutshell, your feet should be parallel to the ball or target line. The target line is the straight line which passes through the hole and through the ball. To help you at first you can place a club behind the ball, with the club pointing at the hole in the distance: this is your target line. What you want to do know is position your feet so that they are parallel to that target line. This will help you hit the ball clean and should improve the accuracy of your shots. If your feet are either opened or closed your trajectory will change accordingly so keep them parallel. Having your feet positioned in this fashion also helps prevent back injury as your body doesn't have to compensate for misalignement.
